Appalachia
Imagine a lush, tranquil forest in the mountains- full of noise of birds and amphibians. This mountain range is the second oldest in the entire world- a link to the past. An area rich in biodiversity -- teeming with many different critters and plants. An area not unlike a rainforest, but found in our backyard of the United States.
This area is the Appalachian mountains, stretching from Alabama in the south to New York in the north.
